Real Fossil Shark and Megalodon Teeth  -  Get yours now!

If you are interested in Sharks and Megalodon, get as close to them as you can get.

If your child is interested in Sharks, buy something that actually belonged to a Shark, something your child will cherish forever, and not just some toy.

These teeth have been around for a long time, and could possibly last forever, to be handed down through generations!

There are only so many of these in the world.  Erosion destroys countless numbers every year, and collectors hoard them.

Note 1: No animals were harmed by humans to get the items shown on this website.  All are fossils.  They were all dead before written history.
Note 2: If we know or suspect that there are any repairs or flaws to teeth, we will state it in the description.  We buy most of these teeth, and
don't necessarily know everything about their histories.
Note 3:  Images are not life size:  They may be bigger to show detail, or smaller to fit within your screen. All sizes are approximate.
Note 4:  We attempt to get the colors on our photos true to life.  That said, computer monitors are not all the same and some variation from true colors
             may display on your screen.
Note 5:  Each shark tooth comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (not shown) , and each tooth comes with a glass-topped, fiber-filled display box and description, at no extra charge.

The image to the left shows the teeth, ranked by comparative size, listed for sale on this page.  The size shown is not the true size of the teeth, as that would vary with the size and resolution of your monitor.  Sizes are noted in the descriptions, and a ruler is positioned in the individual item 1st image to give a feel for the size.  The numbers indicate the item numbers found below with descriptions and prices.

I seriously doubt that you will find better fossil sharks' teeth in which to invest!

Item # S101

This nice Megalodon upper tooth was purchased from a personal collection.  I don't have any information as to where found or when.  It has nice serrations and glossy enamel.  It also has some wear and some nicks.  See photos to the right.  It has some small nicks near the point on the reverse side.  See detail shot by clicking the "more images" link over to the right.  From 1.7 to 24 million years old.  Not a perfect tooth, but priced right.

This beautiful fossil tooth from a Great White Shark is fantastic.  Very well preserved.  A wonderful addition to any collection.  Nice coloration.  Great serrations and glossy enamel.  Sharp.  There appears to be a nutrient hole in the root.  Symmetrical root and great enamel.  Superb point.  From Miocene epoch (up to 24 million years ago) to present.  Actually, it takes 10,000 or more years before something becomes a fossil.  You may look high and low for a comparable tooth.  I doubt if you'll find a better specimen!

Item # S103

This a superb rare Aurora C. chubutensis tooth.  See photos to the right.  The Chubutensis is assumed to be the direct evolutionary ancestor (or father) to the extinct C. megalodon.  My source says this tooth is from Aurora, North Carolina, from a phosphate mine. It has a few worn serrations, and some slight chipping of some serrations. There appears to be a nutrient hole in the root.  The bourlette has held up rather well.  Enamel is glossy.  It is a large and rare specimen, in great condition.  It is probably around 23 million years old, from the Miocene epoch.  It may be tough to find a chubbie of this caliber anywhere else.

Item # S104

This fossil tooth, found in Chile, is from an ancient Mako Shark or Isurus hastalis.  It is quite large and in great condition.  See photos to the right.  Mako sharks do not have serrations in their teeth, like Great Whites do.  From 1.7 to 37 million years old.  This tooth is quite sharp and it has a very pointy tip.  Enamel is glossy.

Item # S107

This superlative Megalodon fossil tooth is quite beautiful to behold and impressive to hold.  It is considered a large Meg, at close to 5 inches.  Hefty at close to 8 ounces.  There are larger Megs out there, but I don't know if you could find a better one.  Glossy enamel, a fantastic bourlette, and great serrations.  Colors seem to be mostly blacks and charcoals.  Very symmetrical.  See photos to the right.  In my opinion, an investment grade tooth!
